NSCI's ever-smiling cueist Subhojit Roy, seems to have saved his best for last. Subhojit Roy produced the goods when it mattered most constructing a 30-point break in winning a crucial fifth frame to knock out the challenge from Otters Club Hemant Mayawanshi by pulling off a 3-2 win in a second round match of the BSAM Snooker Grassroot Challenger 2023 (Leg-1).
In a match of fluctuating fortunes, the two contenders shared the first four frames to take the match to the wire. Subhojit hit peak form at the opportune moment and produced the match-winning effort to seal a 59-21, 39-47, 60-14, 35-72 and 67(30)-3 at the CCI tables.
