Alam puts an end to Mohasin's fine winning streak

Alam Shaikh of Islam Gymkhana was in good nick and besides potted steadily to put an end to the fine winning streak of Kharghar contender Mohasin Shaikh by cruising to a straight frame 3-0 win in a third round match of the BSAM Snooker Grassroot Challenger 2023.
The left-handed Islam Gymkhana player started with a flourish and even before Mohasin could settle down he scored consistently to take the first frame. Mohasin played with more determination in the second, but Alam still managed to win it by a narrow margin and then pocketed the third to complete a 48-6, 69-61 and 65-25 win for a place in the pre-quarters.
