Babani overcomes wily Mehta to move ahead

Otters Club's Yash Babani (+35 handicap) and Park Club's Anant Mehta (+30 handicap) fought tooth and nail and were engaged in grim battle for supremacy in a second round match of the BSAM Snooker Grassroot Challenger 2023.
Babani survived the tricky play of Mehta to narrowly win the first two frames. The wily Mehta did well to win the next two to force the decider. The final frame was another tense affair before Babani managed to win it and to snatch a 3-2 (109-84, 115-70, 66-102, 68-92 and 93-86) verdict at the Islam Gymkhana on Wednesday.
