Rahul Sachdev impressed with another consistent performance hitting another century break of 107 as KG ‘GST’ (Khar Gymkhana) won the home tie 3-1 but lost the away match 0-3 against ARC ‘Cheetahs’ Andheri Recreation Club) in Group-E during the second week of the Otters Club-Mumbai Snooker League (MSL) – 2017, conducted by the Billiards and Snooker Association of Maharashtra (BSAM).
The Khar Gym cueists were comfortable at home and their ace player Sachdev fired a big one as they raced to victory. The doubles pair of Deepak Khubchandani and Nikhil Merani (+24 handicap) defeated the ARC combo of Akshay Vaswani and Tarun Kalra (+33) 68-59 in the first frame and then Sachdev (+5) turned on the magic to tame Om Sawant (+50) by a comfortable 126-50 points margin.
ARC managed to win the third frame when Karan A (+25) defeated Harish Pahuja (+40) 109-89. But, Khar Gym completed the win with Sachdev once again defeating Sawant by a clear margin of 91-58 points.
However, the Khar Gym players, including Sachdev were unable to adjust to the ARC tables and came a cropper losing the first three frames.
Meanwhile GCH ‘Cuerator’ (Garware Club House) and MbPT Sports ‘Dabangs’ (Mumbai Port Trust), both recorded wins in the respective home and away encounters and picked up a bonus point each.

Group B: Selvel ‘Sports Men’ Vs Radio ‘Gen X’ (0-3, 3-2).
Group C: Willingdon ‘Wizards’ Vs MbPT ‘Sports Dabangs’ (2-3, 0-3); MHC ‘Matkas’ Vs GCH ‘Cue Ball Artists’ (3-2, 0-3).
Group D: CG ‘Titans’VS JVPG ‘Cue Masters’ (3-2, 1-3).
Group E: DG ‘Fighters’ Vs MIG ‘Monks’ (3-2, 3-2); KG ‘G.S.T.’ Vs ARC ‘Cheetahs’ (3-1, 0-3).
