Consistent Clyde Affonso shines for CG ‘Dynamics’

Mumbai: Clyde Affonso was in fine consistent form and won all his four matches which helped CG ‘Dynamics’ (Catholic Gymkhana) comfortably defeat DG ‘Warriors’ (Dombivali Gymkhana) by identical 3-1 margins in both the home and away encounters in Group-J during the opening week of the Otters Club-Mumbai Snooker League (MSL) – 2017, conducted by the Billiards and Snooker Association of Maharashtra (BSAM). Having won both the ties, Catholic Gym, recent winner of the Mumbai Billiards League crown, picked up a bonus point and they now have 5 points in their kitty.
Rishabh Thakkar, also showed good form by winning all his three matches to lead Otters ‘Rockets’ to a victories against CCI ‘Kings by 3-1 (home) and 3-0 (away) margins. Otters also have a tally of 5 points, including a bonus point.
Meanwhile, CG ‘Gladiators’ (Chembur Gymkhana) did not drop a single frame as they tamed Dadar ‘Supremoes’ (Dadar Club) by identical 3-0 scores.
CRMI ‘Blue Stars’ (Central Railway Mechanical Institute) also had good outings defeating MBPT Sports ‘Gabbar’ (MbPT Sports Club) 3-1 and 3-0 to also collect a bonus points.
