Format

All India Open - 15 Red Snooker.

Knockouts all through the tournament.

 

Additionally

We will have 16 zones across India.

Mumbai South/North/Central, Ahmedabad, Udaipur, Delhi, Chandigarh, Kolkata, Raipur, Indore, Chennai, Bengaluru, Gokak, Kolhapur, Pune & C Sambhaji Nagar.

 

DATES

Qualifiers dates for the zones - 17th February to 13th April.

Main Draw - 5th to 18 May (duration of two weeks).

ENTRY FEE
Only those who have paid the entry fee shall be allowed to play. We shall/may ask for the payment receipt once before your first match to verify, so kindly keep the same handy. And kindly ensure to complete the one-time BSAM Player Registration formalities before the
start of your match; Mr. Sachin Mali can assist with the same. 
PRACTICE SHOTS
Maximum 10 practice shots are allowed on the allocated table before the match. There is no practice before or post the matches.
FOUL N MISS
Unlimited Foul n Miss rule is applicable through out the tournament - Qualifying Draw as well as the Main Draw. The foul n miss rule can be enforced until the opponent is out of the game. If it is impossible to break the snooker, then it will be considered a foul & not a miss.
SNOOKERS
In the Qualifying Draw, four snookers or more on the colour balls is considered as frame over.
BREAKS DURING A MATCH
No tea or cigarette breaks are allowed in between the frames of a match.
FINAL DECISION
The Marker or Referee decision is final & binding on all players. In case of a dispute, a committee member may be consulted.
Kindly maintain the decorum of the arena and not argue once the decision is made.
REPORTING TIME
It is advised to arrive at the venue one hour before your scheduled time. In case the table, the marker and opponent is available, we can start the said match earlier.
LATE PENALTY ON ARRIVING LATE
Arriving late for a match has the following implications:
1.15 minutes late is 1 frame down
2.20 minutes late is 2 frames down
3.30 minutes late is considered as a walkover
It is advised to report at the venue 30 minutes prior to the scheduled match. 
No practice shots will be allowed, if a player is arriving late for the match.

DRESS CODE
Uppers
It is mandatory to wear the Baulkline Tshirt while playing the match. One cannot wear a cap or any fancy headgear while playing a match.
Lowers
Pants, trousers and khakis are permitted. Jeans or similar looking or materials are not allowed.Revealing undergarments and/or butt cracks are a strict no. (You will be asked to cover up or change, failing which you will not be allowed to continue)
Socks
Crew length socks are a must. No-show, loafers or similar type of socks are not allowed. Socks must be seen & is compulsory to be worn at all times.
Footwear
Formal shoes, moccasins and loafers are allowed. Shoes with car collaborations (BMW, Ferrari etc.) are considered casual and not allowed. Sports shoes, keds, sneakers and similar such shoes are not allowed. Chappals and sandals are not allowed.
A player who is not wearing the apt attire will be given 10 minutes to change and if he/she fails to do the needful, then the match will be awarded to the opponent. No player can play his/her match under the influence of any intoxication. Chewing of tobacco is strictly prohibited in the arena and especially while playing the matches. Eating inside the arena is not allowed. Only hot beverages and water is allowed.
The Arena is a silent zone; mobiles must be on silent mode at all times and talking on the mobile inside the arena is not allowed.
The Arena Clock is the official Timekeeper. In the interest of the tournament, the Baulkline ‘Tournament Committee’ reserves the right
to change the match timings, schedule & the draw. In case of zonal tournaments, the respective committee can take decisions and is binding.

Their decision will be final & binding in their respective zones.
Two members from the Main Committee will be part of the Zonal Commitee as well.
